Famous in Saint-Emilion and Libourne area, Merlot transmits particular aromas to its wines. Except Saint-Emilion and Saint-Emilion Grand Cru appellations, the Union de Producteurs de Saint-Emilion produces wines from neighboring appellations but still around Merlot. Harvesting is done from plots and grape selections.
This is a delicious, very fruity, easygoing Claret with a hint of a spice on the finish. Warm and ripe, this wine is full of black fruits and rich tannins. It is structured but this foundation is already well integrated with the fruit. Spice and a touch of licorice indicate the wood aging and also the potential of this wine.
There is the possibility of aging from 12 to 14 months.
